General

1. How do I qualify for rental of a house/apartment with Stadsherstel?

Stadsherstel publishes an ad containing available housing on each first Wednesday of the month (unless this is the actual first day of the month as well). In the daily papers Trouw, NRC Handelsblad and the Volkskrant under the category ?Woonruimte te huur aangeboden?(living space for rent) it is also indicated, how one can apply and whether or not there is a waiting list. Of all applications the top six of the waiting list are invited for a view. Everyone who has viewed the house/apartment has to indicate whether or not they are interested in renting it. Then it is appointed to the person who has been registered the longest. In case of equal length of registration lots are drawn.

2. How long will it take until the waiting list is open for registration again?

Since 2002 there have been 4000 names on the list. Not until the number of applications by those registered decreases will a new registration round be considered. This will be announced in the monthly ads in due time.

3. Can I get married in one of your churches?

4. Can I give a party in one of your locations?
